Culling of the Inactive: [May 21]
The Culling of the Inactive has begun again. Between May 21 and June 1, all citizens whose e-mail addresses are still current in the government's files will receive a letter confirming their continued excistence. Failure to rply to this letter before July 1, as indicated in the letter, will result in termination of citizenship. If you are a citizen and have not received this letter by June 1 [or May 23, for that matter], contact the Emperor immediatly.

As an April Fools day joke, the news page was left reading March for two weeks extra. It was on retrospect that we decided that this was actually a fairly stupid joke, and probably just looked like a dumb mistake. Our sincere apologies go out to our readers. Both of them.
