This treaty came into effect on December 5th, 2008.
All and Singular to whom these Presents shall come known that I, HRH Anthony I, sovereign of the Principality, give Greetings.
That I, HRH Anthony I, of the Catholic Principality of New Texas in Hopes of a Peaceful and Productive Future with New Texas’ fellow Nations, do so Provide this Act:
1) The Catholic Principality of New Texas does Grant Provisional Recognition of the Sovereign and Absolute Right of The Aerican Empire to Exist among the Nations of the Earth, and of the Authority and Respect such Rights do Ensure,
2) The Catholic Principality of New Texas does Agree to maintain a Peaceful and Productive Attitude in all Manners of Conduct concerning the Aerican Empire, its People, its Government, and its Territories and Holdings,
3) The Catholic Principality of New Texas does Grant Provisional Recognition of the Authority of the legal sovereign of the Aerican Empire, to Rule in Just and Righteous Manners as Head of State, so long as he or she shall be able to so, and to the Government established to Rule in his or her stead when he is not.
Know these to be My words and those of my government. In Witness whereof I have caused these Letters to be made Patent Witness My Prime Minister, the Honorable Mr. Patron McCleary in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland this 29th Day of November 2008.

That I, Eric Lis, Emperor of the Aerican Empire, in hope of a peaceful and productive future, pledge:
1) The Aerican Empire does grant full diplomatic recognition to the Catholic Principality of New Texas, respecting its right to exist among the nations of the Earth, and of the authority and respect such rights do ensure;
2) The Aerican Empire does Agree to maintain a peaceful and productive attitude in all manners of conduct concerning the Principality of New Texas, its people, its government, and its territories and holdings;
3) The Aerican Empire recognizes the authority of the legal sovereign of the Principality of New Texas to rule in a just and righteous manner as Head of State, so long as he or she shall be able to so, and to the government established to rule in his or her stead when not.
This pledge is made in good faith and is witnessed by Tristan Glark, foreign minister of the Empire, and several stuffed penguins, on the second of December, 2008.
